Fibramat™ is an engineered, non-hazardous synthetic fiber product manufactured as an alternative to fiberglass for acoustical and thermal applications.

Fibramat™ is UL 94-HF1 certified and passes MVSS 302 test for flamability.

Fibramat™ parts and compontents are particularly desirable in the manufacturing and OEM assembly environment. It is environmentally friendly and does not require the use of respirators, protective clothing or other safety precautions associated with the use of fiberglass. Fibramat's™ unique manufacturing process enables our technicians to formulate a product to specific requirements. Several standard configurations are available for smaller production levels.

The broad family of products is known as FibraMat. FibraMat is an engineered, non-hazardous synthetic product intended mainly as a replacement for fiberglass in acoustical insulation, thermal insulation and filtration applications. FibraMat can be produced from a wide range of synthetic or natural fibers to meet specific requirements. Further, FibraMat can be made in any size up to the capacity of our equipment, and supplied in sheets, rolls or pre-cut shapes. Fibra Mat is a UL certified product that is very environmentally friendly because it recycles fiber materials that otherwise could end up as waste materials. It is also friendly to those who have to work with it because it does not cause skin irritation or respiratory irritation as fiberglass. It is hypo-allergenic and resists the growth of bacterial and mildew. FibraMat is so versatile, it is difficult to categorize and its potential uses are still being tapped. It is commonly supplied as an insulation pad or insulation blanket, and depending on its thickness, density and fiber composition, it can be used for sound absorption or noise control, high temperature thermal insulation. However, it is quite capable of use as filter media for both liquids, air and gases. Its unique properties make FibraMat quite easy to fabricate: it can be die cut, slit, laminated, ultrasonically welded, thermoformed...and the list goes on and on. Perhaps equally important, is the fact that FibraMat is economically attractive, typically far less expensive than other materials in its class used for similar purposes.
